WHERE THIS SITS:

WHY THIS ROLE IS IMPORTANT:

  • Develop and execute internal and external communications programs and campaigns specifically for an assigned line of business
  • Craft compelling content for digital and print channels including virtual meetings, videos, blogs, webcasts, podcasts, newsletters, social media
  • Plan and oversee execution of content strategy for leadership and employee engagement events
  • Utilize your excellent collaboration and communication skills to lead projects and nurture strong cross-functional relationships

 

THE BACKGROUND THAT FITS:

  • 3+ years of corporate communications, public relations, marketing communications or marketing experience is required
  • Proven experience developing strategy for communications campaigns is required
  • Proven experience crafting and publishing content for a wide variety of audiences (internal, external, executive, etc.) is required
  • Commitment to be in office in Charlotte, NC 2-3x per week is required
  • Bachelor's degree in English, journalism, communications or marketing is required
  • Industry experience within chemical, mining, natural extraction and/or oil & gas is strongly preferred
  • All candidates will be required to provide a leadership-related writing sample, an employee communications-related writing sample, and an example supporting a major event to be considered
