WHY THIS ROLE IS IMPORTANT
Unique opportunity to leverage your skillset and design and write program specifications based on consultations with supervisor, systems analysts, other programmers, and end users.
Highly visible to the BI Manager and additional senior level management
Allows you to gain extensive, hands-on training and exposure to advanced technologies
Day to day, you’ll convert designs and specifications into computer code, compile code into programs and correct errors detected in compile process.
Exposure to working with large data flows
BACKGROUND THAT FITS
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or other related discipline coupled with 2+ years of relevant experience.
Must have technical experience should include:
Proven full-life cycle development working with Python or other functional languages
Working knowledge of multiple programming languages and frameworks
Cloud-based solutions such as Azure, AWS
Experience with Git, functional programming (Clojure, Scala, Haskell) and SQL
Exposure to full stack, in regard to provisioning to create a solution, data flows and ability to work with users on the front-end
Must be detail oriented, self-starter and exceptional communication skills
General Purpose or OO programming (e.g. Java, Python, C#, etc.)
