WHY THIS ROLE IS IMPORTANT:
Administer various employee benefits programs, including group health, flexible spending accounts, dental and vision, accident and disability, life insurance, 401(k), and wellness benefits.
Conduct benefits orientations and provide guidance on benefits self-enrollment system.
Maintain and audit employee benefits filing systems, ensuring accurate and timely entry of benefits changes in the payroll system.
Assist in auditing vendor programs and FSA deductions for accuracy.
Support the VP of HR and Director of HRIS in obtaining statistics and information for the renewal process of health, life, and retirement plans.
Prepare and facilitate meetings to educate employees about company benefits, distribute required employee notices, and assist employees with health, dental, life, and other related benefit claims
THE BACKGROUND THAT FITS:
Associate's Degree in Human Resources, Business, or related fields (four-year degree preferred) or equivalent work experience.
At least 2 years of experience within the industry or a related management position.
Advanced Excel skills
Strong skills in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, & PowerPoint) and the ability to
learn and operate other software (AS400, SAP, BTN, etc.)
HR Generalist certification or working toward it, SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP certification is a plus.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, along with superior customer service.
Ability to collaborate with various departments, employees, and external business partners.
