WHY THIS ROLE IS IMPORTANT

  • Responsible for establishing the standards, methods and techniques for setting up, installing, operating, testing, troubleshooting and maintaining audio and video equipment
  • Provide end-user support for multimedia architecture hardware components including all audio-visual equipment.
  • Develop a process for issue control including problem recognition, research, isolation, resolution, and follow-up.
  • Conduct and coordinate VTC configuration management and maintenance, testing and documentation.
  • Create support documentation to document the process for requirements gathering, configuration management, change management and transition.
  • Develop standards that detail how AV Engineers are expected to provide end-users support for multimedia architecture hardware components including all audio visual equipment.
  • Diagnose all audio-visual problems through discussion with users.
  • Ensure a timely process through which problems are controlled, including problem recognition, research, isolation, resolution, and follow-up.

 

THE BACKGROUND THAT FITS

  • 2-4 years providing AV Support in a large enterprise environment
  • AV experience with large production such as enterprise town halls, multiple camera settings, large conference rooms and board rooms, executive launches, and various others
  • Troubleshooting experience for conference room TVs and Microsoft Teams set up
  • Possess an understanding of the flow of AV for productions: i.e., cameras and lighting
  • Support experience with various AV technologies such as: Avaya, Verizon, Cresron, Airwatch, and others is preferred
