LOCATION:

• Charlotte, NC - 100% remote for now, then will sit Hybrid (3 days in office, 2 days remote) when staff transitions back into the office after February.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Partner with our management and work cross-functionally while conducting individual audits.
• Develop, execute, and document audit tests in accordance with Audit Services policies and procedures.
• Possesses knowledge of data literacy and analytics to provide consultation to management regarding emerging control practices.
• Uses proactive communication skills with management and peers to reduce frustration and mitigate customer service issues before they occur.
• Possesses technical knowledge, creativity and value-added mentality will be crucial when performing ad hoc projects as assigned to assist with analyzing our risk and control environment.
• Serve as a coach and mentor to junior staff members.

HOW YOU ARE QUALIFIED:

• 1+ years of work experience in audit or financial services with a focus on brokerage or wealth management processes strongly preferred
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field of study
• Relevant certification (FINRA SIE, Series 7, CIA, CPA, CISA, etc.), is a plus. 
• Experience using ACL and Teammate or other Computer Assisted Audit Techniques (CAATs), again a plus.
• Exhibits a desire to creatively identify problems that potentially were not known to exist and provide solutions and/or recommendations.
• Curiosity, passion, and an aptitude for technology.
• Analytical attitude
• Open to travel, but not too much.
