WHY THIS ROLE IS IMPORTANT:
The Associate Creative Strategy Manager’s primary role is to work with Creative Strategy Manager, business owners, brand strategy, the creative team and external agencies to develop breakthrough ideas that deliver on business goals and continue to evolve the Credit Karma brand.
It’s the Associate Creative Strategist’s role to assist in development and execution of all marketing deliverables and help manage the day-to-day relationship between the creative team and key business stakeholders.
Drive efficiency in day to day management of internal projects including but not limited to: reviewing creative briefs to ensure they are actionable for the creative team; drafting creative recaps and status reports; reviewing creative work to ensure it’s on brief and meets business objectives; ensuring the deliverables fulfill testing plan requirements; and contributing to creative performance results to inform future optimizations.
Build and maintain strong relationships with vertical business partners, creative team, brand strategy and performance marketing.
Support the Creative Strategy Manager in the development of strategic and operational marketing initiatives, that are built on what we know about our 120MM members.
Assist in facilitating all stages of project planning, creative development and production/execution to ensure the highest level of quality, delivered on time and on budget.
Own the success and key results of specific projects that ladder into larger initiatives.
THE BACKGROUND THAT FITS:
2-4 years in an account management role at an advertising agency or an in-house marketing/creative manager role.
Understanding of all disciplines of marketing, including brand and performance marketing, creative production and media, as well as Credit Karma’s products and competitive landscape.
Keen attention to detail, with strong organizational and communication skills. Ability to manage multiple workstreams, involving multiple teams, concurrently.
At least some understanding of creative best practices, channel behavior and production process for: email, paid social, online video, TV/OTT and radio experience.
Aptitude for critical thinking, strategic analysis and problem-solving.
Ability to drive for clarity and alignment among conflicting feedback or direction, to tease out the issues that matter.
Positive, collaborative and empathetic, with a passion for helping people make financial progress.
