WHY THIS ROLE IS IMPORTANT:
Newly created opportunity in the accounting department to be the right lead of the Controller.
Heavy emphasis on accounts receivable, cash flow, budgeting, forecasting, revenue recognition, and project accounting (including % complete experience).
Ability to work with various computer software applicable to accounting and inventory/materials functions.
Review and analyze finances, work with all facets of the business to improve decision making through analytics, partnering with key associates in analyzing sales/financial data, provide recommendations to improve profitability and process improvements, and organize and automate data reporting related to operational and financial analysis for the organization.
THE BACKGROUND THAT FITS:
CPA REQUIRED
10+ years of experience in related field / position with minimum of 3 years’ experience managing teams / leadership experience.
Construction experience a plus.
Technical accounting background, with a strong knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
Working knowledge of Microsoft Suite. Ability to work with various computer software applicable to accounting and inventory/materials functions (Great Plains, WennSoft, etc) ++.
