WHY THIS ROLE IS IMPORTANT
Partner with and assist Head of Finance in operation of Finance and Administrative Department, taking on a variety of roles and responsibilities that further ensure the full and complete operation.
Ensure timely and accurate monthly / annual financial statement as well as forecast reporting via Cognos Software, along with ad hoc weekly, monthly reporting as required by local / corporate management.
Manage daily functions of Finance Dept, including but not limited to: general ledger, treasury, fixed assets, vendor payables, customer receivables, and cost.
Assist management with day-to-day financial questions, including analysis of cost variances and operational inquiries.
Responsible for preparation of annual budgets, updated quarterly forecasts, and various ad-hoc forecasting models as required by internal and corporate management.
THE BACKGROUND THAT FITS
BS Accounting / Finance from an accredited college or university.
Extensive experience, 3-5+ years, in all aspects of Finance
Advanced knowledge of GAAP / IFRS accounting practices / procedures.
IT / Computer skills. Extensive knowledge of various PC and ERP software packages, including MS Office, Cognos and Sage X3 developed products.
International business experience with transfer pricing and tax relationships considered a plus.
