WHY THIS ROLE IS IMPORTANT

• Manage the accounting team, including training, coaching and implementing best practices
• Review journal entries, account reconciliations and manage financial transactions
• manage the monthly, quarterly and year-end close, ensuring financial statements are prepared timely and accurately
• Manage interim and annual audits, working with internal and external teams
• Create process improvements and set KPI's

THE BACKGROUND THAT FITS

• 10+ years of accounting/ finance experience preferred
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance or CPA  preferred
• Experience working in a manufacturing environment, familiarity with factory accounting is a plus 
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
• SAP Cloud experience preferred
