WHY THIS ROLE IS IMPORTANT:

• Execute on different aspects of GL accounting, including but not limited to accruals, cash, fixed assets, prepaids
• Own the preparation of journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, flux analysis, and supporting models as a key participant in the financial close process
• Lead and assist in field work for interim and annual audits
• Assist with researching and resolving technical accounting issues
• Maintain and improve upon the current accounting infrastructure, ensuring that all financial systems and files stay in sync with the general ledger
• Assist with the development and implementation of new systems and internal controls that meet the Company’s business growth and culture
• Ad hoc analyses and projects as needed

THE BACKGROUND THAT FITS:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field
• Combination of Big 4 CPA firm background and industry experience preferred
• 3+ years of corporate accounting experience, with increasing levels of responsibilities
• CPA license or active CPA candidate preferred
• Strong understanding of GAAP accounting concepts.
• Advanced knowledge of Excel, including pivot tables and v-lookup formulas
• NetSuite experience is a plus
