WHY THIS ROLE IS IMPORTANT: 

  •  Travel through assigned territory to call on existing customers and generate new business
  • Call on fire stations and repair shops directly to develop relationships with key decision makers
  • Establish sales targets for each product and produce monthly sales forecasts
  • Attend fire chief meetings and trade shows to stay up-to-date on the products 

THE BACKGROUND THAT FITS: 

  •  Someone that is self-driven and able to work with little oversight
  • Success managing a territory prior
  • Hunter mindset, someone looking to find new business
  • Ability to communicate effectively at the executive level and give product presentation
  •  Experience selling in the automotive market
  • Familiarity with fire stations or vehicle repair shops is a plus
