AccruePartners Says Farewell to This Summer’s Interns
It’s been an exciting summer here at AccruePartners and our Interns have experienced first hand the thrill of recruiting. As this summer comes to a close we part ways with Kyrie Pennington, Emma Hatfield and Jenna Comisar, who have only been here a short 3 months, but surpassed all expectations and made vast contributions in the growth and success of our company.
“I had the opportunity to manage a great deal of reference calls to Supervisors and Managers to better understand and learn more about what their experience was like working directly with our candidates. I heard first-hand what qualities, work ethics, and habits Hiring Managers like (and don’t like) in their employees. By sitting in on interviews I learned a lot about proper interview etiquette and worthy questions to ask your interviewer.” – Kyrie Pennington #UNCCharlotte
“I was given the opportunity to get an insider’s look at the job market, hiring process, and the leg work that goes into filling a vacant position in the professional world. Not only has this new perspective helped me to better understand what I must do to be seen as a viable candidate for a job I might apply for, but it has also opened my eyes to many careers that I didn’t fully understand because I hadn’t seen them in action.” – Emma Hatfield #WingateUniversity
“My ability to interact with others in a professional setting has improved tremendously. I was able to build a strong rapport with candidates as well as colleagues in the firm. I was even given the opportunity to train and mentor a new permanent sourcer as he joined the firm. Executive search is clearly a relationship-based business, and I have enjoyed operating as a consultant with candidates as they think through career options.” – Jenna Comisar #VanderbiltUniversity
